(Μπορεί η αλόη βέρα να με βοηθήσει με τις αλλεργίες του 3 ετών γιου μου; | Ελληνική έκδοση - Greek version)
I am a mother of a 3 yr old son. He is allergic to dairy, soya, all types of dals, chickpeas and almonds.
- We are vegetarians. Consuming any of these foods either give him eczema or results in redness, itchiness and swelling on the face.
His skin is in a quiet good condition as we do a good job in controlling the food he eats. We are looking for a treatment that can tackle the root cause of the allergies and not something that treats the symptoms.
- Can aloe vera help me with his allergies?
- How much and how many times should I give him aloe?
Strato's answer:
Hello Trana, thanks for asking.
Allergies or allergic reactions - Usual cause and action
Allergies or allergic reactions usual caused by hereditary causes, environment's polution and combination of nutrition and weakness of our digestion system.
Practically, allergy or allergic reaction occurs when the tissue of the collagen in the walls of cells weakened and allows foreign or small elements to enter in the bloodstream and cause reactions such as redness, itching and swelling in various parts of the skin.
Collagen is a protein essential for cell walls and responsible for healthy skin, elasticity, hydration and continuous renewal of skin cells.
Foreign elements exist in our bodies because we inhale them and other small elements because of an inability of our digestive system to break up in simpler constituent elements, the complex food substances. Also, weak digestion does not allow our body to absorb the proper amount of nutrients from the foods we eat.
How aloe vera helps with allergies
Studies have documented that aloe vera is actually providing additional nutrients to the cells, which in turn are more powerful to confront the allergies. The daily use of a small quantity of pure aloe vera juice improves digestion and strengthens our collagen.
Pure aloe vera gel contains enzymes - which break up complex food substances - and has the proper pH, which forces our body to produce the quantity of hydrochloric acid needed, thus improving our digestion.
Improved digestion means that our body receives more nutrients and begin to produce collagen to repair the weakened parts of the structure of connective tissue of cells. Glucomannan containing in aloe, provide additional assistance to strengthen the walls of tissue cells.
This prevents the entry of foreign bodies in the bloodstream and prevent allergies.
Also, natural anti-inflammatory and analgesic substances - camestrol, beta-sitosterol, lupeol, and salicylic acid - that contains aloe vera, help reduce itching, swelling and irritation of the skin.
Vitamin B12 - Folic Acid
Other beneficial ingredients of aloe is vitamin B12 which is found only in meat and livestock products and is probably necessary for vegetarians and folic acid, which can correct hematologic abnormalities.
Dear Trana, start giving your son to drink small quantities of aloe vera gel drink with a small spoon three times a day before eating and every other day increase the number of the spoons. 1st day one spoon three times, 3rd day one and a half spoon three times, 5th day 2 spoons three times etc. up to three spoons, three times a day.
Adopt Aloe Vera Gel drink as a basic pillar of your family's health and enjoy living better forever.
